Delgrosso's Amusement Park Wedding First Look: Erin & Nick { Pennsylvania Wedding Photographer }

Prepare yourself for the most beautiful, personal and intimate first-look I have ever had the privilege of photographing! Prepare yourself for stunning portraits, lots of joy and heartfelt moments with family!

When I asked Erin where she was thinking for a first look location, she said she had no idea. She said that she trusted me, and that she was leaving all the details to me. NO PRESSURE! So, upon digging, I come to find out her grandfather was none other than Leo Thompson, who owned Thompson Amusement Park back in the early 1900’s! I got to work on the first look location. Erin told me if she could pick anywhere in the world, it would be in front of the Tilt-a-Whirl at Delgrosso’s Amusement Park in Tipton, PA. Mr. Thompson sold his original Tilt-a-Whirl to what was then, Bland’s Park. Still to this day, the original ride from her grandfathers park sits in Delgrosso’s Park. I knew there was NO BETTER PLACE to do their first look, than right there in front of the Tilt-a-Whirl.

So, after a few text messages to a dear friend and park family member, we had all the arrangements made to have Erin and Nick’s first look at the park when it was closed for the season. They even made sure the cars were still on the ride for the pictures <3

I want to personally thank ALL of the family, owners and staff of Delgrosso’s park for making this happen, and allowing Erin to share her wedding day with her grandfather in the most beautiful way. Without all of you, this would not have been possible.

Erin got ready at her grandmother’s house. Which I absoltuly loved. Such a beautiful, personal touch. All of the small details made this wedding truly special, and I am so honored to highlight it here on the blog.

A special thank you to the ever-so-amazing Vicki at The Casino at Lakemont Park for her impeccable planning and masterful organization skills! She allowed us to do a sparkler shot at the end of the night that would not have been possible without the 14+ staff members there to help, and get a once-in-a-lifetime photo for the couple.
