Harmony Forge Inn Wedding | Bellefonte, PA

The Harmony Forge Inn, nestled in Bellefonte, PA was the perfect backdrop for a rustic, country wedding.

Liz and Eric tied the knot inside the barn while the rain poured down. I was at this same venue 2 weeks prior to this wedding. Giving my clients an organic, timeless end result is my entire mission. I do not like to replicate my other weddings, or Pinterest.

So to give Liz and Eric that experience, I decided we should embrace the rain. I knew I had to capture the essence of how romantic the ceremony was. Then came the first dance, which was hands down the most romantic rendition of Across the Universe I’d ever heard. Eric’s band mate and lead singer Eric Faust, from Lenina Crowne learned the song and played it acoustically for the first dance. It was breathtaking folks. These two just had that feeling of true romance, from the lace dress she wore, to the flowers that were chosen. I was so pleased with this rainy day wedding and how our photos turned out. I think of the rain like pixie dust, it was just that extra little something that brought the romance to life in their photos.
