Ever since I was little, and I am talking VERY little, my dad has taken me up to New York to fish on the Niagara River.

Fast forward to October 2021, so many things happened in the last few years. Covid is the main thing. I guess you could say, life happened or got in the way.

My dad is the most amazing person on the planet. I am not just saying that because he is my dad, I am saying that because it’s true. I can’t tell you the number of times my dad would drive 30-45 minutes one way to pick up one of my friends. Then, when we were done hanging out, he would drive them home.

There were so many sacrifices made, and when you’re a kid, you really don’t see it that way. All I knew was, I was having a good time with my dad.

If I were to create a list for you of all the selfless, kind things my dad has done for not just me, but EVERYONE, well, we would be here all day.

So, it was my turn to repay that kindness. My husband and I decided we would take my dad on a fishing charter on the Niagara River this November.

We let my dad lead us around, and visited all of the places he loved to go. I didn’t even complain about his restaurant choices lol!
