We met at the apple orchard they found in State College. The trees were full of flowering blooms, and the entrance was a long gravel driveway. When I first met John and Gina, they told me that I had to try burnt sugar gobs. As any local from Central, PA, I do enjoy a good gob every now and then! My inner foodie was highly intrigued by this, burnt sugar gobs? What is that?
I pulled into the orchard, and when I parked, John and Gina got out a picnic basket from his truck. They brought me over 4 burnt sugar gobs! Well, technically one was for me, one was for my husband and each of our girls to try. The sweetest (pun intended) gesture I have ever experienced at an engagement session!
In case you are wondering, THEY WERE DELICIOUS! The taste is unlike anything I have ever had before. I highly recommend them to you!
John and Gina brought all of their own props, and selected their own wardrobe. I think it is safe to say they rocked every element! In fact their engagement session was so unique, I had to do a blog post about it!
Why did their engagement session rock? I would have to say there were a lot of elements that helped contribute to the success of this session.
However, the main reason John and Gina have amazing images? To be blunt, they listened to me on every topic we covered! Down to the day and time of year to shoot, to arriving ON TIME, they took my professional advice to heart! It worked out for them greatly. You have to remember, I do portraits every week. I am a professional, and I know exactly what it takes to produce amazing results.
If you have any questions about this session, or want to know more, please drop me a line, I would love to hear from you!
