Shawnay and Rick’s wedding in the mountains started at the Lakeside Community Church in Ebensburg, PA. After the ceremony concluded, we headed down the winding country roads, following a truck that had “Just Married” on the tailgate. La Ferme Rouge in Patton, PA was the perfect setting for this beautiful, country wedding.

The ceremony was filled with family and love that only children can bring to two people. As a mom, I can tell you just how much love a child can bring to two people who already love each other so much. Children can teach us so many things about love, like how to forgive quickly and how to be patient. Watching Shawnay and Rick share this special day with such special children, was an amazing thing to capture.

Shawnay is fun and full of personality, she was not stressed at all, or if she was, it didn’t show on the outside. The bridal party was equally as fun, and had a great time cooperating for their photos, I think we even had to promise a few lollipops! LOL!

They some really nice private moments in their private session before we headed into the reception. Then the pesky sun came out, and we ended their session with the daring shot of them out in full sun, I have to say, I am so glad we did!

One thing I have to say about the reception venue, La Ferme Rouge, in Patton PA, it is BEAUTIFUL! It is always set up so nicely, and the lighting inside is great. I absolutely loved the couples idea to do a fall pie pyramid table instead of a cake. My favorite? Pumpkin praline! Enjoy the photos!
