From an outsider’s perspective, at first glance, Zach and Kendra look like a typical young couple in love. When I first met them, they were very laid back, their appearance, vibe, everything left me thinking, how cute, typical young couple getting married. Well, they may be young, and they may be a couple, but their love runs from a deep place, a place where the word “family” still means that everyone helps each other and loves each other. The way that Zach looks at Kendra, man it is like he has loved her forever, and when she looks back at him, you can just tell that he is the one she has waited for all of her life. When I saw the way they look at each other, let me tell you what, I see gratitude, amazement, love and excitement. Gratitude is something that does not come naturally with young love. It takes some folks a lifetime to appreciate their other half, but the fact that they already truly appreciate each other, well, that sure says something about their love story.
Kendra was picture perfect before the ceremony, as she got ready at the church. She is not only a beautiful bride, but this girl is a beautiful soul, and she sure does love Zach.

The sun was out, it was a hot summer morning in the middle of nowhere, also known as Martinsburg, PA, at Salem United Church of Christ. We had an adventure finding the church, as there is no cell phone service, so that means no GPS on my phone either 🙂 The ceremony was beautiful, the flower girls really stole my heart though!

I loved the way Kendra looked at her groom, and the way he returned the look back to her. There was so much emotion as she walked down the aisle, and what gets me every time, is when the father of the bride can’t hold back his tears.

The bridal party was very large, but we all had a lot of fun, and once the sun went down the light was just amazing!

The reception was held on private property in Williamsburg, PA. Kendra’s uncle had a huge white tent in his yard, it was picture perfect! And the groom and bride singing to each other during their first dance? Yes please!
And when it came time for the father/daughter dance, Kendra’s dad had me all choked up again, as they danced to “You Look So Good In Love” by George Strait…

Love the little things <3
And the music filled the air, the dance floor was packed all night and the couple wanted to escape for golden hour, does it get much better than this?!
My favorite part of the day would have to be going to get their evening photos. Allow me to take you away to a magical place that was only shared by Kendra and Zach. These types of photos are only possible when the bride and groom set aside a special time to go away with me in the evening. Thank you to Kendra and Zach for requesting these photos specifically, we had an amazing time capturing them and they are some of my favorite! I threw in some candids for your viewing pleasure as well! YES I am a fearless wedding photographer lol!
A lot of work went into making Kendra and Zach’s wedding day come to life! Thank you to their wedding day vendors!
